A PROFESSIONAL

Throughout my time at CU I have met incredible mentors, made wonderful connections, and interned for phenomenal companies. Most recently, I was the Marketing & Franchise Management Summer 2019 Intern for the Walt Disney Animation Studios. This was an opportunity beyond anything I could have hoped for, but I must admit there was more to landing this internship than just faith, trust, and pixie dust. I set a goal of landing a professional internship with the Walt Disney Company at the beginning of my college journey. From there I sought out a professional mentor, attended career treks, acquired related experience, did my research, and fostered strong relationships with my connections at Disney. When it was the right time, I applied for the position, I visualized, I interviewed, visualized again, interviewed again, visualized some more (you get the point), and then my dream finally came true! So I guess you could say all it took was faith, trust, pixie dust, a whole lot of hard work.

about

Hello sunshine, I'm so happy you're here. I am a dreamer and optimist at heart. If you asked me, I'd say we all have a bit of magic inside of us. In fact, I'd say that magic IS believing in yourself. If you can do that, anything is possible!

I grew up in colorful Colorado and began dancing at the age of three. I have always loved performing for an audience and being on the stage. It was there that I first learned what it feels like to make others smile, to warm another's heart, and to bring a little more sparkle and sunshine into the world. There is no feeling like it in the world.

I think I have always been a creative at heart. I thrive on the unique challenge of expanding my creative skills both on the stage and now in the business world. I will graduate from the University of Colorado this May 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. I am pursuing a dual degree in Marketing and Finance as well as a Certificate in Design Technologies. I have been awarded the Marketing Student of Excellence award from the Leeds School of Business and will finish my college career as a High Distinction student with a 3.9 Cumulative GPA.

I am so excited to see where this next chapter will take me. Will it be back to Orlando, Florida? Will it be back to Burbank, California? Will it be right here in Denver, Colorado? Will it be a little bit of each? Or will it be somewhere beyond my wildest dreams? No matter what, there is one thing I know for sure...I will reach for the stars and continue to DREAM ON.

A PERFORMER

Before becoming a professional intern at Walt Disney Animation Studios, I first had to step into the lives of the world famous Disney Characters (of course I didn't have to...I wanted to). That's right, I was a Parade Dancer and Character Performer in Walt Disney World! After my sophomore year of college I auditioned and applied for the Disney College Program and went on to spend seven whole months in hot humid Orlando, Florida. The DCP was truly the best experience of my life thus far. I made memories I will never forget and friendships that will last a lifetime. Believe me when I say, not a day goes by that I do not miss dancing down Main Street USA  with my best friends. I dream of the day when I can go back to Disney World and do what I love so much: make people smile at the happiest place on Earth.
